Pink Slime in Meat?

The current events article is about people complaining about pink slime in their beef. Research shows that 70% of beef is pink slime. It happened where they made the meat which is North Carolina and South Carolina. But people have just found this out recently In the past couple of weeks. A chemical reaction happens when the ammonia gas meets with the meat in a thin tube, which kill pathogenic bacteria.

Furthermore, I feel that its fine what the processors are doing to the meat. Even though the meat has pink slime, it still taste good. People should just ignore the fact that there meat is 70% pink slime. I rather taste meat with a little pink slime, than getting diseases from pathogenic bacterias. But schools might not allow it, I believe it doesn't matter. The kids wont even realize it and it will save money in the schools. To sum it up, people should still eat the same beef even if there's pink slime in it.
